Erik Evy - "Bridges" (2022)
Erik Evy is an artist from the Chicago area. Evy specializes in captivating observations, clever wordplay, and influenced by the likes of Mac Miller, Amine, and J Cole.
His debut project “Periscopes”, released March 17th, 2021, mirrors his laid-back attitude and is produced by a rising collection of producers (Stoic, Pilotkid, Eeryskies)
Erik's follow up is the EP "Matinee", Sep 29 2022, an extremely self-aware look at his progress, and what he has internalized as he pushes forward. Evy’s goals are to constantly challenge his fans with different sounds, concepts, and energy for each body of work.
In 2023, Evy won Subterranean's freestyle competition and opened for Wifisfuneral at The W.C Social Club in West Chicago, IL. (crowd of 150+patrons)
Evy has released 4 singles for his upcoming project (Down Stream, Mr Benevolent, Count these highs, Honeydew). He has already locked in features from prominent Chicago artists, the writing is concise, and the direction is clear.
Evy embraces the art of having themes for all his projects. He believes albums are becoming a lost art and those who have longevity are those who have memorable themes and eras to their music.
His optimism is unmatched, his creativity is infectious, and his lyrics are expansive. Evy tries to capture every emotion; what it means to be human. Evy is for the believers and the doers.
